Numbers 6 & 7

I can't believe I've done my last preschool. It seems like we just started the school year, where did it all go?
On Monday we had fun learning our numbers. We made dice and rolled them to see how many people would get each of the numbers. Then we talked about graphs and made some simple graphs. The kids had fun dividing out their Runts into each fruit and marking them on the graph. I decided I should have had Josh teaching for me all along. He helped the kids with their worksheet and gave them their snacks while I cared for Gabe for a minute. The kids loved him, I guess they don't get to see a dad doing preschool very often. Then I decided to be brave and take the kids to the park to fly kites. There was no shortage of wind, so the kids got the kites up pretty easy. I was impressed with how well the kids did. I had James come to help me, he did have to pull a few out of the trees.

On Wednesday we talked about the 7 days of the week. We learned a song to help us remember and read the book "Dinosaur Days". We watched the Leap Frog movie Math Circus and ate cracker jacks. Then we practiced what the video taught us with a few math problems.

It's been fun to watch the kids learn and grow over the year. Thanks for all of your hard work and effort with the preschool. I think they will all do well come Kindergarten time!
